Chrysa Smith

Chrysa Smith has been writing freelance magazine features for over 20 years–on everything from celebrity chefs and resorts to homing pigeons and pot-bellied pigs. Chrysa lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her family and own posse of poodles.

Before being her own boss, Chrysa served as an editor for Harcourt, Brace, Jovanovich, and a communications manager/consultant for both Fortune 500 and smaller corporations. For the past two decades, Chrysa has written for both national and regional magazines, including Pool & Spa Living, Bucks County, PhillyStyle, Pennsylvania, The Cooperator, BUCKS, South Jersey, Design NJ, Low Carb Living. Now Chrysa’s gone to the dogs, spending many fun hours observing, writing and speaking about some of her favorite four-legged companions, and teaching summer camps in publishing at Temple University, Ambler.  She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI), the Women’s Business Forum (WBF); Career Coach and Saint John’s University, NY.
